before you ask, no, i do not speak japanese.
no, i have never lived here before... or anywhere outside the us, for that matter.
no, i do not have family in japan.
no, i can't tell you what my job is (not because it's a secret, more because i don't know myself).
and no, i don't know when i'll be coming back.
also, no one asks this, but it is important to me, so i'm going to tell you anyway. no, i do not have a futon or a normal bed. i am sleeping on an air mattress until august when my shipment from the US arrives.
also, in japan, pay day only happens once a month and there is only one type of ATM that accepts my international card. so i'm also poor. not that you asked about that either.
as you can see, i'm very well prepared for this new adventure.
i'm going to try my very best to blog more regularly, but in the mean time, here is a picture of a delicious taiyaki from a stand near my apartment.
